A hot spot in the Lehigh Valley is celebrating a major milestone with activities in store to mark the occasion.

The Promenade Saucon Valley is celebrating 20 years in the Lehigh Valley. The outdoor shopping center opened in 2006.

Located in Center Valley, Promenade features more than 50 national retailers, boutiques, restaurants and entertainment destinations. The property includes outdoor gathering areas, fountains, fire pits, a stone gazebo and an event stage.

The celebration will culminate Saturday, Oct. 17, during the center’s Barktoberfest, according to a news release. The annual event features dog-friendly events for shoppers and their pups.

Anniversary activities will include giveaways, a historical photo display and a recognition ceremony at 2 p.m. in partnership with the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.

During the event, visitors can explore a “Walk Down Memory Lane” display featuring photographs documenting the center’s construction, grand opening, holiday traditions, community events and changes over the past two decades.

The anniversary celebration will also include $2,000 in giveaways. Ten winners will each receive a $200 gift card to a Promenade Saucon Valley retailer, restaurant or service provider of their choice. Winners must be present for the 2 p.m. drawing.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to receive a limited-edition 20th anniversary tote bag with a purchase during Barktoberfest, while supplies last.

The Promenade is continuing its 20 Days of Deals as part of the anniversary, featuring special offers from participating retailers and restaurants through Oct. 20.

Since opening, the center has welcomed millions of visitors for shopping, dining, entertainment and community events. Recent additions in 2026 include Sephora, Norman’s Hallmark and Wonder. Two additional tenant announcements are expected soon, according to the release.

“For 20 years, Promenade Saucon Valley has been more than a place to shop and dine. It has been a gathering place for our community,” Patrick Turner, the center’s general manager, said in the release.

More information about anniversary promotions and events is available on the Promenade’s website.
