Elizabeth “Betty” Karabinos
OBITUARY
Elizabeth “Betty” Karabinos, 79, passed away on November 7, 2025 at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Karabinos, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years until his passing in 2022.
Betty was born in Reading to Arthur and Elizabeth (Bedford) Henry. She graduated Reading High School, Class of 1963, before embarking on a 30 year career at Car Tech as a production scheduler. Betty loved to dance — surely she and Bob are reunited now, doing the jitterbug.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her family: daughter, Lisa Schultz (Christopher); grandchildren: Joshua Schultz (Jacky Powers), Molly Schultz (Waverly Garber), Hannah Schultz (Jordan Santos), and Claire Adams; great grandchildren: Wolfgang, Ruth, Atticus, Solomon, Juniper, and Bodhi; and beloved sister, Joann Brown.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
