HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — New poll results show the congressional race between Republican Rep. Scott Perry and Democratic challenger Janelle Stelson will likely come down to the wire.
The lead candidates were tied at 48% in a poll of 404 likely voters who live in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, which includes Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties. The margin of error was six points.
An additional 4% of voters said they were undecided or refused to answer, according to results released Saturday from the New York Times/Philadelphia Inquirer/Siena poll.
When broken down by county, 56% of voters from York County favored Perry, while 53% and 51% of voters from Cumberland and Dauphin counties, respectively, leaned toward Stelson.
Of the respondents to the survey, 160 identified as Republican, 138 identified as Democrat and 89 identified as independent.
In 2024, Perry staved off Stelson by a slim margin of about 5,000 votes.
