SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – Dancing is on the decline. At least, that’s what a new survey says.
Mike Kelly looks at what’s driving the trend.
So, what’s stopping people from letting loose on the dance floor? It seems the fear of going viral for all the wrong reasons is making it harder for people to fully enjoy themselves.
And it doesn’t stop at just dancing. Three quarters of the people surveyed said the prospect of going viral affects their desire to leave the house or attend any event at all.
Some venues and festivals have implemented phone-free policies because of this, but experts say removing phones doesn’t remove the fear of judgment.
For someone with social anxiety, it could still be a tough one going out there.
