LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — There’s a different kind of Thanksgiving celebration coming to Lackawanna County next weekend. People will be feeding the turkeys instead of eating them at Indraloka Animal Sanctuary near Dalton.
Indraloka Animal Santuary is holding its annual ThanksLiving celebration on November 7. There will be live music, raffle prizes and a feast for the humans. But the main event will feature the guests feeding the turkeys a feast.
Indraloka is an animal santuary that helps rescued farm animals. More than 200 animals call this place home. ThanksLiving is its biggest fundraiser of the year.
ThanksLiving is Saturday, November 7 from 11-4.
