Owner Samantha Griffin has a longtime love of fashion and saw a need for the business in the community.
“I’ve always wanted to open a boutique,” Griffin told 69 News.
“I like to thrift myself, and finding good deals inspired me to help other people do the same.”
Since late September, Griffin has been accepting donations of women’s and junior clothing, shoes and accessories in preparation of the shop’s opening.
Customers will be able to browse a curated assortment of clothing, including jeans, pants, skirts, blouses, collared shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters and more.
The boutique also will offer a variety of boots, high heels, casual shoes and other footwear, along with accessories such as belts, scarves, handbags and jewelry.
“We’ll follow a buyout model where people will be able to bring in their items by appointment, and I’ll look through the pieces and tell them how much that I can give them for certain items,” Griffin said.
“They’d have the option to either get cash for the purchase or store credit.”
Griffin, an Emmaus High School graduate who grew up in Lower Macungie Township, is excited to open her business and follow in the entrepreneurial footsteps of her mother, who operates her own Macungie business, Out of Our Minds Art Studio.
