Caitlin Calhoun, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2026 at her residence.
She was born on December 5, 1989, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Charles Michael Calhoun and the late Carol (Daniszewski) Calhoun.
Caitlin graduated from Fairview High School and attended Edinboro University. A free spirit with an artistic and eclectic soul, Caitlin had a radiant presence that lit up any room she entered. She was profoundly kind and would go out of her way to do anything for anyone. Her warmth, individuality, and unforgettable spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
An avid animal lover, Caitlin shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Bubba. She also found peace and joy by the water, especially loving the beach and searching for beach glass and appreciating life’s simple treasures.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Calhoun.
She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her father, Charles Michael Calhoun; daughter, Nora Marie; sister, Meghan Herrmann; nieces, Cecilia, Lucille and Vivian; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. West Ridge, 3801 West 26th Street, on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m.
Her warmth, creativity, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
