Mama B Resale Boutique, offering gently used fashions, footwear and accessories, is looking to score more sales at a new location in the Lehigh Valley.

The boutique, carrying clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children, is planning to reopen on Saturday, Nov. 15, at its new location at 107 N. Seventh St. in downtown Allentown, according to a news release.

Saturday’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and individuals should monitor the business’ pages on Facebook and Instagram for updated regular hours.

Tonya Johnson, the mother of Philadelphia Eagles star running back and Whitehall High School alum Saquon Barkley, originally opened Mama B Resale Boutique in March on East Fourth Street in south Bethlehem.

In addition to clothing and shoes, accessories such as belts, jewelry and handbags are also featured.

The Bethlehem location closed in October to prepare for the business’ transition to Allentown.

“Led by Johnson, affectionately known as ‘Mama B,’ the boutique has long been a trusted community hub for families seeking affordable essentials, including clothing, shoes, and accessories, as well as encouragement and compassionate support,” the release states.

“Its new Seventh Street location marks an exciting next chapter, offering an updated space designed not only to meet retail needs but also to be more accessible for hands-on support and a closer connection to local families.”

In March, 69 News asked Johnson what inspired her desire to open a thrift boutique.

“I love bargains,” Johnson said.

“I love deals. I love clearance. And also we’re hoarders. We always gave clothing away, always gave to Salvation Army, Good Will… giving clothes away. I was like ‘You know what, ‘How about we just do something else?’”

Mama B Resale Boutique is reopening at its new location a couple of weeks after the Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation’s sold-out inaugural Hurdles for Hope Black-Tie Gala at the Philadelphia Art Museum.

On Nov. 1, more than 450 guests gathered at the gala to raise funds for underserved youth, women and families throughout Pennsylvania, including the Lehigh Valley, where the Barkley family’s roots run deep.

The gala brought together fellow NFL Philadelphia Eagles players, Fox’s Good Day Philadelphia hosts, A-list celebrity guests, culinary partners, spirits sponsors, inspiring speakers, live performances and a live auction to spotlight the Foundation’s commitment to pairing athletic excellence with educational preparedness, strengthening family stability and advancing opportunities for underserved communities.

“Giving back to the places and people that lifted my own family is everything to me,” Saquon Barkley said in the release. “When we invest in young people, particularly in their education, their dreams, and their safety, we change the trajectory of entire families and neighborhoods. That’s what our MASB Hope Foundation looks like in action.”

Johnson, a co-founder of the Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation and a lifelong advocate for underserved communities, echoed the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that the youth and families that they serve have access to both opportunity and stability.

“We know what it’s like to do without,” Johnson said.

“If we can help families stay together, provide a safe place to live, and keep food on the table, we will. For the athletes we support, we want them to be educationally sound and supported on and off the field. It’s all about preparing young people and families for life.”
