READING, Pa. – Reading has set hours for trick-or-treating this Halloween.

The mayor’s office says families can head out Saturday Oct. 31st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Anyone handing out candy should turn their porch light on.

Officials also suggested kids use face paint instead of wearing masks. They also said parents should give their children flashlights or glow sticks to help them see.

Drivers should also take extra caution.
