Overnight will be mostly clear and cool with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. The Jersey Shore will only fall to about 50° thanks to a light breeze coming off the Atlantic.
Wednesday begins bright with high clouds increasing through the afternoon to provide filtered sunshine. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 60s with a light southeasterly breeze. The wind will shift Wednesday night to a southwest flow to provide slightly more moisture in the low levels of the atmosphere. This change will bring patchy fog Wednesday night into Thursday morning, especially north and west of the city. Some of the fog will be dense, however, most of this will lift by 10am Thursday. Otherwise, Thursday will be brighter and milder with highs near 70.
Friday will be mild with temperatures reaching the mid 70s before a cold front brings cooler and more seasonable air for the weekend.
