Pittsburgh police are investigating after they say an ATM was stolen Monday evening from a building in the South Side Flats neighborhood of the city.

Police did not identify the exact building where the theft occurred, but said authorities reported to a building on the 2900 block of South Water Street a little before 9 p.m. The address is in the area of the SpringHill Suites Hotel.

Police did not answer questions regarding how much money was suspected to be in the machine at the time of the theft.

Police said two men entered the premises, removed the ATM machine and fled the scene in a vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

No charges were filed as of Tuesday morning.
