Allentown Hallo-weekend
Why celebrate Halloween on just one day when you can have a whole weekend?
Allentown will once again host Hallo-weekend, a trio of events to celebrate the spooky holiday.
The weekend kicks off Friday with trick-or-treat night 6-8 p.m. On Saturday (rain date Sunday), the Halloween Walking Parade begins at 11 a.m. and goes from Eighth to 12th and Hamilton streets.
On Sunday, celebrate Dia de los Muertos in the Arts Park from 2:30-6:30 p.m. The event will be held in partnership with Interlace Cultural y Desarrollo Integral Mexicano de Lehigh Valley Inc. and the Baum School of Art, and is an opportunity for families to enjoy music, dance and cultural celebration. In respect of the Mexican culture, participating vendors for the Dia de los Muertos celebration will be limited to local, authentic Mexican businesses and organizations.

Zombie Ball at SteelStacks
Get ready for a night of frightful fun at the ninth annual SteelStacks Zombie Ball. DJ Andrew Highland will spin a haunting mix of Halloween-inspired hits and crowd favorites throughout the night, keeping the undead dancing well into the evening. Guests can discover their fate with a tarot reading with Auset Gypsy, while aerialist Shannon Sexton takes to the air in a spellbinding live performance.
Attendees can sip on chilling drink specials served in fake blood bags and indulge in Halloween-inspired bites like monster munch popcorn, mummy dogs, pimento ghoul dip, zombie fingers and fries, pumpkin spice churros and more.
All guests are encouraged to dress to impress — or scare. Costumed attendees can show off their creativity in a contest, with cash prizes awarded to the most original individual and couple.
If you go: 8 p.m. at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Must be 18 or older to attend. $19.25-$24.25. Tickets and information: artsquest.org/event/steelstacks-zombie-ball/
