Jim Aiello Jr. had reason to wonder if he would succeed in getting the kind of successful office tenant he’d lost in his Stevenson Building in East Liberty.
After all, it was Numo, a fintech startup funded by PNC Financial Services Group Inc., that first moved into Aiello’s building at 141 South Highland Ave. around five years ago, taking the top two floors of the historic building after revamping them with a quality renovation only to move out earlier this year for more space in the Liberty East complex.
“They just outgrew the space and there was nothing I could do about it,” said Aiello. ” So, unfortunately, I lost them.”
Yet as the calendar careens deeper into the fall, Aiello has a newcomer expected to move into the former Numo space as soon as November, taking all 13,000 square feet of office space on the second and third floors.
