SECTIONS OF THE NEW Penn Street bridge in New Bethlehem were set in place last week, as crews from Curry and Kepple Inc. continue the project over Leasure Run. Because of the expedited timeframe, officials had anticipated that the bridge could be opened to truck traffic for the local J.M. Smucker peanut butter plant this week, while remaining work is completed before a full opening to the public.
