Al Martino. – Consigli Construction Co.

Consigli Construction Co. announced Oct. 27 that Al Martino has been named regional director of the firm’s regional operations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, overseeing client relationships, business development and people management.

An industry leader with expertise in life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing markets, he has more than 25 years of local ownership experience delivering, engineering and managing complex facilities and programs for global clients.

Martino is well-versed in navigating stringent compliance standards and mitigating risk – while maintaining operational excellence – within highly regulated environments.

“Al’s deep knowledge of the regional life sciences community and his firsthand understanding of what owners and clients need from their construction partners will be instrumental in supporting Consigli’s continued growth across the local market,” said Laura Bush, regional director – NYC Metro and NJ/PA. “We look forward to the positive impact that his leadership will undoubtedly make on our people, projects and relationships.”

Martino most recently served as the director of site planning, strategy and controls at Roche. He has previously led project management and strategic operations for life sciences clients, such as Nestle Health Sciences and Merck.

Equipped with an owner’s perspective on the building and operating of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) facilities, the company said Martino will deepen Consigli’s in-house resources for its new and existing clients.

Additionally, he will further bolster Consigli’s life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices companywide, providing expertise and strategic guidance to support the firm’s growing national portfolio.
