Garry Edwards, left, places a pin on his grandfather, Sam Hayward, a World War II Navy veteran, Tuesday afternoon in recognition of his service during a Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation. Hayward celebrated his 100th birthday and was recognized alongside fellow residents who are veterans during the ceremony.
