Presque Isle Downs is continuing its support of Erie-area veterans with another donation to Warriors to Washington.
On Friday, Presque Isle Downs General Manager Gary Hendricks presented a check for nearly $40,000 to the organization. The donation will cover the cost of another trip to Washington, D.C., giving a group of post-9/11 veterans the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital and see its historic sights.
Joe Pfadt, founder of Warriors to Washington, said the organization is extremely grateful for the continued support and thanked Presque Isle Downs for its generosity.
