ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Community Financial System, Inc. has completed its acquisition of seven Santander Bank branch locations in the Allentown area.
The deal, carried out through its subsidiary Community Bank, N.A., brings in approximately $553 million in customer deposits and expands the bank’s footprint in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
Dimitar A. Karaivanov, President and CEO of Community Financial System, said the transition will be seamless for customers:

With these branches and additional new locations, the bank will operate 12 retail locations in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
