House fire in Exeter sends 1 person to hospital | Reading Area

EXETER TWP., Pa. – One person was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a fire ripped through a home in Exeter Township.

It happened on Route 422 near Monocacy Hill Road just after 8 p.m.

Video and photos show the two-story house was badly damaged.

The Exeter Township fire chief said one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.

There’s no word yet on the extent of the injuries or the cause of the fire. The fire marshal is investigating the incident.
