BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Get ready Christmas City: the holiday magic officially kicks off, with Christkindlmarkt opening its doors Friday morning.
69 News Reporter Sydney Kay joined us live from Bethlehem with more on one of the Lehigh Valley’s favorite traditions.
The holiday market features dozens of artisan vendors, festive treats, and family activities, ArtsQuest says on its website.
Christkindlmarkt is cashless.
Debit/Credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and ArtsQuest CashCard cards are the only forms of payment accepted for admission, food, beverages and official ArtsQuest merchandise, according to the website.
ArtsQuest says participating artisans and retailers may choose to accept cash.
Lat year, almost 130,000 people came to the market over the six weekends it was open, says ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer Curt Mosel.
A winter wonderland is being added to the market this year.
The holiday market is at PNC Plaza at SteelStacks.

Thursday and Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
