DICKSON CITY — A Barnes & Noble bookstore will open in the Dickson City Crossings on Wednesday at 10 a.m., store officials said.
The retailer — which also operates a location inside the Arena Hub Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Twp. — will occupy the former Joann Fabrics property, 638 Commerce Blvd.
During the grand opening, author Matt Birkbeck will sign copies of his books, including “The Life We Chose: William ‘Big Billy’ D’Elia and the Last Secrets of America’s Most Powerful Mafia Family.”
The approximately 20,000-square-foot store will feature books, toys, games, magazines, gift items and a B&N Cafe, officials said.
