Crews are responding to a two-alarm house fire Friday afternoon in Allentown.

Firefighters were called about 1 p.m. to the 800 block of North Jasper Street for an initial report of downed wires, according to city fire department Capt. John Hammel. When they arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the rear of the twin home, he said.

The fire went to a second alarm shortly after. No injuries were reported. Hammel said all occupants are out of the home.

The fire, he said, appears to be contained to the rear of the home. Drivers should avoid that area. Crews were still at the scene as of about 1:30 p.m.
