Notre Dame is at Pittsburgh. Here’s how to watch.

The No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish face the No. 23 Pittsburgh Panthers in a huge test — one that could determine Notre Dame’s playoff fate.

The Fighting Irish have two losses, and a third might knock them out of the playoff chase. Pitt is probably the toughest team remaining on the Notre Dame schedule. This matchup is getting the spotlight — ESPN GameDay will be on site.

Pitt has its focus set on the ACC title, but a victory at home against the Irish would be huge for the program. Notre Dame, meanwhile, likely has the talent to win, but the Irish will need to be focused — Pitt is arguably the hardest opponent Notre Dame has faced since losing to Texas A&M, though others might say it was USC, who the Irish defeated. Notre Dame has also occasionally been its own worst enemy — a clean, mistake-free and penalty-free game might be just what the Irish need to win.

Notre Dame at Pittsburgh will broadcast nationally on ABC in Week 12 of the 2025 college football season. Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer will call the game from the booth at Acrisure Stadium, with Katie George reporting from the sidelines.
