EASTON, Pa. – It’s a colorful holiday season when Crayola is in town.
Master crafter Abby Dentner from the Crayola Experience in Easton visited 69 News at Sunrise Saturday to teach us how to make our own holiday ornaments.
Dentner said Crayola does pop-up events, noting that it is participating in the Winter Village at Centre Square in Easton this year.
The Model Magic kit can help people make their own ornaments at home, Dentner said.Â
She said people can use cookie cutters to craft the lightweight clay material in the kit into different shapes.
People can use a pencil or another sharp object at home to poke a hole in the top of it. That will be the hole to put the string through when you make your ornament, she said.
With the admission fee to Crayola, people get two tokens, which people can use to redeem for the Model Magic kit. People can do the project for free at the Winter Village. Crayola will be there every Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
