DELANO TWP., Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police have identified the person who died in a car crash on Friday on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.
Danyel Miller, 26, of Shenandoah, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to officials.
Two cars and a tractor trailer were involved in the crash. All three vehicles were travelling south on I-81 in Delano Township around 5:45 p.m. on Friday night.
A Honda driving in the right lane used the shoulder to pass an uninvolved car, according to the press release.
Officials say that when it came back into the highway – the Honda hit a tractor trailer and spun, hitting an Audi in the process.
The Audi, driven by Miller, left the roadway, rolled multiple times down a median embankment, and came to a stop in the northbound lanes of I-81.
The crash is under investigation and there’s no word on any charges.
