PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct work on more than a dozen roads across Northampton County from Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 21, with lane restrictions and flagging operations expected at most locations.

The work includes crack sealing, roadway reflector installation, and brush cutting at various sites throughout the county. Most projects are scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, and all may experience delays if it rains.

Major work zones will include several sections of Route 33 in Plainfield Township, Bethlehem Township, and Palmer Township. Crack sealing operations on Route 33 North between Route 512 and the Monroe County line will cause northbound lane restrictions on Nov. 17 and Nov. 19.

On Nov. 18, northbound lane restrictions will be in place between Route 191 and Belfast Road from 8 a.m. to noon, followed by southbound lane restrictions in the same area from noon to 3 p.m.

Route 248/Lehigh Drive will see crack sealing work at multiple locations. In Lehigh Township, crews will work between Riverview Drive and Blue Mountain Drive on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18, and between Blue Mountain Drive and Monocacy Drive on Nov. 19. The same Monocacy Drive section extends into Bushkill Township, where work will continue Nov. 20 and Nov. 21.

Apple Butter Road in Bethlehem will have lane restrictions with flagging throughout the week from Nov. 17 through Nov. 21 for crack sealing between Shimmersville Road and 25th Street.

In East Allen Township, maintenance work will affect Airport Road between Orchard Lane and Nor-Bath Boulevard on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18. Nor-Bath Boulevard will have lane restrictions between Airport Road and Seemsville Road from Nov. 19 through Nov. 21.

Additional projects include roadway reflector installation on William Penn Highway in Bethlehem Township on Nov. 21, which will not require traffic restrictions. Brush cutting is scheduled for Tatamy Road in Upper Nazareth Township on Nov. 21 between Industrial Drive and Fairview Road.
