The 1020 Collective will present RECESS, a new mixed media exhibition by Erie-based artists Em Crisman and Jamie Keim Pomorski, opening Friday, Nov. 21 with a public reception from 6–8 p.m.

Created during a shared season of new motherhood, the collection combines painting, cyanotype, sewing, and drawing to explore creativity as a space for rest, renewal, and connection.

Ten percent of all artwork sold during the opening will benefit Emmaus Ministries Soup Kitchen, supporting efforts to fight food insecurity in Erie.

Both artists and the gallery owners are graduates of Bridgeway Capital’s Erie Made Program (now NWPA Made), which supports local creative entrepreneurs.

Em Crisman is a mixed media artist integrating cyanotype and watercolor, inspired by nature, human connection, and faith.

Jamie Keim Pomorski is an intuitive painter and arts administrator focused on the natural world and fostering creativity in Erie’s youth.

The 1020 Collective is a multifaceted arts and event space dedicated to community expression and connection through the arts.
