A divided room saw some of those who spoke explain that they already have a field that can just be renovated, while others say it’s time for a much-needed change.
Monday night’s Northwestern School District board meeting saw parents and taxpayers agree that the current sports complex’s fields need to be upgraded.
However, some feel that spending $7.5 million to do it is an unacceptable figure.
The board decided to go through with the $7.5 million renovation, however, with four new board members coming in next month that decision may still be up in the air.
