The Reading Housing Authority is accepting public comment on two key planning documents that will guide its operations in the coming year.
Drafts of the agency’s 2026 Annual Plan and its Administrative Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher Program are available for review.
The annual plan outlines the agency’s financial conditions, goals, objectives and key operating policies for public housing.
The administrative plan serves as the framework for the voucher program, setting local guidelines within federal requirements.
Both draft plans were prepared in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations, the authority said in a release.
Officials said all feedback will be considered before final action is taken.
Residents may schedule an appointment to view the documents at any housing authority administrative or program office by calling 610-775-4813.
The plans are also posted online at readingha.org.
The public comment period runs through Jan 8 at 2 p.m. At that time the authority will hold a public hearing at the Willis Center for Administration, 400 Hancock Blvd.
Written comments may be sent to Stacey J. Keppen, authority president and CEO, at 400 Hancock Blvd., Reading PA 19611, or emailed to info@readingha.org.
