A homicide investigation is underway in Norristown, Pennsylvania, officials said.
According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, the incident unfolded on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, around 2 p.m. at 806 Dekalb Street in Norristown.
Officials said officers initially responded to the 200 block of Jacoby Street after receiving reports of a single-vehicle accident. When they got to the scene, they found that a vehicle had struck a utility pole.
Inside the vehicle, officials said, officers found the driver, identified as 38-year-old Eric King, of Conshohocken, bleeding from a single stab wound.
Officials shared that King was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to officials, a joint investigation by Norristown Police and Montgomery County Detectives found that just before the crash, King had been involved in a verbal and physical dispute with a woman at 806 Dekalb Street.
The woman, whom King knew, has been interviewed by the police. At this time, officials said the incident still remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
