Love it or hate it, the holiday season is upon us. In Pittsburgh, there are countless ways to skip Amazon, the big box retailers and crowded malls, and instead fill your gift list with meaningful goods from talented makers, artisans and entrepreneurs, as well as from independent businesses and boutiques.
We also recommend exploring your neighborhood’s main streets to support your community this season. Don’t forget Museum Store Sunday on Nov. 30, a perfect time to visit the unique shops at Carnegie Museums, Heinz History Center, the Mattress Factory, Kamin Science Center and more.
We went in search of markets, pop-up boutiques and open studios to create our ultimate holiday shopping guide for 2025. While our guide aims to be comprehensive, it is by no means definitive. If we missed your favorite spot, email us.
Now get out those calendars — here’s your go-to guide for Pittsburgh holiday shopping.
