The second annual Olyphant Kris Kringle Christmas Market will take place Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Olyphant. The Lackawanna Heritage Valley and the Santa Train will arrive at the Queen City Train Station at 1 p.m. The parade will start at 2 p.m. from River Street. Events will be held on Lackawanna Avenue, Willow Street and Nestor Chylak Drive. Activities include free horse and carriage rides, children’s arts and crafts, petting zoo, face painting and free photos with Santa Claus. There will be over 50 craft and food vendors, as well as raffles, children’s activities, music, dance performers and twirlers. For more information, call Kim Atkinson at 570-892-0378.
