The Carbondale Area Junior/Senior High School Watershed Team spent the day at Lackawanna State Park on Oct. 2. While there, they learned more about their local watershed, looked at macroinvertebrates under a microscope and performed a wide variety of water tests. The team also learned the vital importance of protecting our environment. 2025-2026 Watershed Team members are Landon Rivera, Abigayle Lynady, Leslie Prieto, Zachary Tarchak and Leila Maldonado.
