1 injured in crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County on Thursday morning.

The crash happened between the Irwin and New Stanton exits around 6:40 a.m.

According to the Adamsburg Volunteer Fire Department, one person was taken to a hospital from the scene. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
