Wicked: For Good comes out Friday, Nov. 21, and fans are looking forward to the highly anticipated Part Two of the film.

At Cinemark Tinseltown Erie, fans of the Wicked franchise got “Glinda-fied” for the advanced screening Wednesday night. Over 300 tickets were sold for the event.

The film is estimated to make around $200 million globally this weekend. This projection could potentially break box office records for a musical adaptation.

Fans took the time to get dressed up as their favorite witch for the movie.

For many, this film and experience brings a sense of community.

“I feel like it’s such a powerful movie,” said Gigi Prince, a local Wicked fan. “It brings so many people together. I couldn’t tell you how many times people have been like, ‘Oh, you like Wicked?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh yes. I do.’”

It’s projected that 8 to 11 million people will be seeing the film this weekend.

So, if you are planning to join them, you’ll want to get to your theater well in advance.
