Garbage collection change: Garbage collection for the city will be suspended for Thursday, Nov. 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Thursday route will be collected on Friday, Nov. 28.

Christmas luncheon: The Moscow Women’s Club Christmas Luncheon, Dec. 2, noon, Mendicino’s Restaurant, Covington Twp. Attendees can bring a $10 grab bag gift to exchange. Various clothing and personal items will be collected for the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton, and the North Pocono Scholarship donation box will also be available.
