MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — “Fly Eagles Fly.”
We all know the phrase of our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. And after Sunday night’s victory against the Detroit Lions, many of us either heard the phrase or said it to celebrate another win by the football team as they get ready to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
But those at the Core Creek Elementary School got a special Eagles treat on Monday.
Elementary Teacher Sarah Wells snapped a picture of a pair of Bald Eagles spotted in a tree outside the school.
Bald Eagles are often seen around Bucks County, with several taking to the high wires in Bensalem Township.
