Erie County Health Department and Erie County Community Health Center have announced the return of two very special guests this holiday season: Santa and Mrs. Claus, according to a news release.

For the second consecutive year, Santa has made time in his busy schedule to visit the Erie County Health Department, 420 Superior St. in Sandusky, the release said.

The beloved holiday figures will make a stop at the Health Department to meet local families and take pictures, offering a festive and free opportunity for the community to celebrate, according to the release.

The free event takes place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9, the release said.

“We are honored that Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to the (Erie County Health Department) for their second annual visit,” said
Nicole Ziegler, chief health services officer, in the release. “It’s a privilege to host an event that brings so much joy to our community.

“We invite everyone to come down and share in the holiday spirit — it’s a wonderful, free event for the whole family.”

All are welcome to attend and have their photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the release said.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras or phones to capture the moment.

The Erie County Health Department/Erie County Community Health Center looks forward to welcoming the community for this joyous occasion, the release said.
