A man was shot and killed in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia Thursday evening, police said.
Police were called around 6:30 p.m. to the 4600 block of Whitaker Avenue, where they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics took the victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m., according to police.
Homicide detectives are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
