State Sen. Judy Ward, chair of Pennsylvania’s Senate Transportation Committee, plans to launch a fact-finding hearing into the issuance of non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) and Real IDs.Ward said the goal is to “collect objective information and properly address the public’s concerns regarding the safety of our transportation system in the near future.”This announcement comes after an Uzbekistan native was arrested in Kansas with a Pennsylvania-issued CDL.
