Philadelphia police are investigating two separate overnight shootings that left one teen and one man injured.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the first shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, on the 2000 block of Wilmont Street.

Police said officers responded to a nearby hospital after a gunshot victim arrived by private vehicle. When officers arrived, they found that a 33-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his ankle and was placed in stable condition.

At the scene, on Wilmount Street, police said officers found one 38 caliber FCC and a firearm. Officers also detained a suspect.

An investigation into this shooting is active and ongoing, according to police.

Police said the next shooting incident happened a few hours later. Just after midnight on Saturday, November 22, 2025, officers responded to an area hospital after another gunshot victim arrived by private vehicle.

According to police, a 17-year-old boy had suffered a gunshot wound to the left upper thigh and was placed in stable condition.

At this time, police said the exact location of the shooting is unknown. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Shooting Investigation Group.
