Mostly clear & calm overnight, tracking rain chances this holiday week for south-central Pennsylvania

Monday looks mainly sunny with high clouds returning late in the day. Both days remain milder than average. Rain chances are back on Tuesday. Blustery & chilly for the end of the week

LOOK LIKE FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND AND WEEK AHEAD? YES. IT’S GOING TO BE A MILD START TO THE TO THE WORKWEEK WILL BE INTO THE 50S FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS, THEN THE 60S AS WE GET INTO AS WE GET INTO WEDNESDAY ESPECIALLY, AND THEN DROPPING TO THE 40S. SO DEFINITELY A BIT OF A ROLLER COASTER OF TEMPERATURES AS WE GET INTO THE WORKWEEK. BUT IN TERMS OF THE WEATHER HEADLINES FOR THE REST OF THIS, FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT TONIGHT, CLEARING SKIES. THE SKIES WILL BE REMAINING MAINLY CLEAR. BREEZE IS ALREADY SETTLING NOW, BUT WILL BE STAYING MILD. BUT RAIN DOES RETURN AS WE GET INTO OUR TUESDAY. ALSO WEDNESDAY. THEN IT WILL BE COLD AND BLUSTERY FOR THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY. SO FOR THE WEATHER PLANNER FOR OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, WE’LL HAVE MOSTLY CLEAR AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS 32 DEGREES BRIGHT SUNSHINE TO START, A LITTLE BIT OF A CHILLY START, BUT A LITTLE BIT CRISP IN THE AIR. A LITTLE BIT OF A CRISP FEELING. START TO THE TO THE DAY TOMORROW, 40 DEGREES AND FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON MOSTLY SUNNY. BUT THEN AS WE HAVE OUR NEXT SYSTEM APPROACHING THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY, WE’LL START TO SEE SOME INCREASING HIGH CLOUDS COME IN DURING THE AFTERNOON. SO I DID MAKE A NOTE OF THAT FOR THE SECOND LINE THERE FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON. HIGHS GETTING INTO THE LOWER 50S. NOW WE MADE IT TO 53 DEGREES TODAY. SO IT IS MILD JUST A COUPLE DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. 29 WAS EARLIER THIS MORNING’S LOW 34 IS WHAT WE EXPECT FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. ONLY HAD ABOUT 100TH OF AN INCH RECORDED OF RAIN RECORDED AT HARRISBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. YOU SEE TEMPERATURES JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A RANGE HERE. GOT 36 DEGREES IN HARRISBURG, 38 IN YORK, 42 IN CARLISLE, 48 IN CHAMBERSBURG AND GETTYSBURG. AT THIS TIME, RIGHT INTO THE LOWER 40S FOR THE RED ROSE CITY CURRENT WINDS. RIGHT NOW THEY’RE A LITTLE ELEVATED. EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. STILL, THEY’VE RELAXED SOME BETWEEN 5 AND 10MPH. I’D SAY ACROSS THE AREA. SO JUST A VERY LIGHT BREEZE IS WHAT I WOULD SAY. STORM TEAM, LIVE RADAR NETWORK. ALL IS QUIET THANKS TO HIGH PRESSURE THAT’S BUILT IN OVER THE AREA. THAT’S A LITTLE BIT OF A WEAK COLD FRONT THAT’S GOING TO BE MOVING THROUGH THE AREA, THAT’S GOING TO CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH AS WE GET INTO OUR MONDAY MORNING, AND WITH HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN, IT’S GOING TO HELP CLEAR OUR SKIES AND KEEP OUR SKIES CLEAR UNTIL WE GET TO ABOUT LATE MONDAY. YOU CAN SEE SOME CLOUDS ARE BEGINNING TO MOVE IN AS WE GET INTO LATE MONDAY. GETTING INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING TO START YOUR TUESDAY MORNING, YOU CAN SEE NOT REALLY SEEING ANY SHOWERS, JUST REALLY LOOKING AT PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS. BUT THEN HERE COMES LATER IN THE MORNING. GETTING INTO THE AFTERNOON. I DO EXPECT TO SEE SEE SOME OF THESE SHOWERS COMING IN. THEY’RE ABOUT SCATTERED TO ALMOST WIDESPREAD IN NATURE, AS YOU CAN SEE, KIND OF A SPRAWLING OR SPRAWLING ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. I DO EXPECT FOR THERE TO BE SOME SHOWERS FOR YOUR TUESDAY. SO IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BE TRAVELING FOR YOUR TUESDAY, YOU’RE GOING TO WANT TO KEEP THAT IN MIND AND JUST PLAN AHEAD IN TERMS OF IN TERMS OF THE FOR THAT FORECAST. SO NOW I’LL STEP ON THIS SIDE OF THE SCREEN FOR THE EAST COAST. AGAIN. THERE’S THAT COLD FRONT. THIS IS FOR WEDNESDAY. NOW THERE’S THERE’S THE TIMESTAMP BY THE WAY THIS IS FOR WEDNESDAY. BLUSTERY AND COLD CONDITIONS TOWARDS THE OZARKS. BUT YOU CAN SEE YOU CAN SEE THE COLD FRONT JUST DRAPED OVER PORTIONS OF THE AREA. THAT’S GOING TO START TO PUSH IN SOME SHOWER CHANCES AS WE GET INTO OUR WEDNESDAY. THEN WE LOOK OUT WEST. YOU CAN SEE HIGH PRESSURE SETTLED IN OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTRY. YOU SEE, PROMOTING MILD CONDITIONS. THEN TOWARDS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, TOWARDS WASHINGTON STATE. RAIN AND SOME POTENTIAL SNOW SHOWERS ARE GOING TO BE ON TAP. THEN HERE COMES THURSDAY. IN THE WAKE OF THAT COLD FRONT, YOU CAN SEE RIGHT RIGHT BEHIND ME. THERE’S THAT COLD FRONT MOVING OUT TO SEA, BLUSTERY AND COLDER CONDITIONS ARE ON TAP, BUT I DO WANT TO MAKE A NOTE OF SOMETHING. IF YOU ARE HAVING IF YOU HAVE ANY TRAVEL PLANS TO NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF PENNSYLVANIA, CHECK THIS OUT. WE COULD BE SEEING SOME LAKE EFFECT SNOW FOR ESPECIALLY ERIE TOWARDS FAR NORTHWESTERN AREAS, EVEN TOWARDS SOUTHWESTERN AREAS OF OF OF NEW YORK STATE. SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO KEEP THAT IN MIND IF YOU DO PLAN ON TRAVELING THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND ALSO YOUR SATURDAY COULD BE SEEING SOME LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS FOR THE END OF THE WEEK. NOW LOCALLY, BACK HOME IN THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY, NOT EXPECTING ANY ANY LAKE EFFECT SNOW. JUST LOOKING AT BLUSTERY AND CHILLY CONDITIONS GETTING INTO SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. YOU CAN SEE CHILLY LIGHTER WINDS THOUGH
