The Erie City Mission is spreading holiday cheer with its annual thanksgiving outreach.
Monday morning volunteers started distributing 1,200 Box of Love packages to Erie families.
Each box includes a turkey, meal fixings, homemade cookies, a family game, and a Christian Bible.
This is the first time a Bible is being included in the Box of Love packages.
The Bibles are made possible by Elevate Church.
Organizers say, it’s all about feeding both the body and the soul this holiday season.
