SCRANTON — The Electric City’s elaborate annual holiday light show at Nay Aug Park will kick off Monday, Nov. 24, 2205, at 5 p.m. and continue nightly into early January. The city last year used a contractor to set up the many lighted displays, but this year returned to having city employees do that work, Scranton Mayor Paige Gebhardt Cognetti said recently. The megawatt, drive-thru spectacle that lights up the nights at the city’s largest park annually draws thousands of spectators.
