Two 18-year-old men have been arrested for their roles in shootings that took place weeks apart in Camden County.

Shamil Ceaser Jr. and Abdul M. Tatum robbed and shot a 23-year-old man in Lindenwold on Oct. 2 before fleeing, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The victim was hospitalized following the shooting, which took place around 11 p.m. on the 100 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road.

While investigating that shooting, detectives linked Ceaser Jr. and Tatum to a shooting in Camden that occurred on Sept. 10. During that incident someone shot at a home on the 1200 block of Dupont Street but no one was injured, authorities said.

They were charged with attempted murder, robbery, and weapons offenses for the Lindenwold shooting, and aggravated assault, weapons offenses, and criminal mischief for the Camden incident.

U.S. Marshals arrested the pair Tuesday in Camden. They are being held at the Camden County jail.

Both Camden men are scheduled for court appearances on Friday, but no attorney is listed for either in court records.
