Lehigh Valley International Airport logged 93,240 passengers in October, marking a 13% increase from the same month in 2024 when 82,514 travelers used the facility.
“This ranks among the best Octobers regarding activity on record at ABE. We continue to prepare for the holiday rush over the next two months and encourage travelers to give themselves extra time and pack their patience,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, executive director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
The growth varied among carriers. Allegiant saw the largest jump at 24.7%, while Delta increased 9.9%. United declined 3.4% and American dropped 4.8%.
The airport recently added nonstop service to Fort Myers, Florida, aboard Allegiant Air on Nov. 13. Flights operate on Thursdays and Sundays.
Air cargo also increased, with 29,411,579 pounds processed through the airport in October, up 20.8% from 24,345,021 pounds in October 2024.
