PITTSBURGH, PA — With more people doing their shopping online these days, Black Friday might have lost a bit of its luster and the frenzied moments of bricks-and-mortar stores trying to handle maddening middle-of-the-night crowds might be over.
But judging from the many early Black Friday openings scheduled at numerous stores in and around the Pittsburgh area, many retailers still are expecting plenty of shoppers to turn out.
