BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A fire that caused “significant damage” to a Yates Road home is under investigation, fire officials said.
The Bensalem Township Fire Rescue Department’s fire investigators have been on the scene of a house fire that occurred on Sunday night on Yates Road.
The home sustained significant damage throughout its structure, but no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
Investigators have determined that the fire originated in a sunroom located in the rear of the home.
Fire officials said the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Penndel Volunteer Fire Company assisted with the fire along with the Newport Fire Company first due.
Fire crews were on the scene for about two hours.
