The York County coroner was called to the scene of a deadly crash on Thursday.According to emergency dispatch, a call came in shortly after 5:30 p.m. for a vehicle crash at the intersection of Delta Road (Route 74) and Bacon Road in Chanceford Township.The coroner says a GMC Envoy was traveling south on Delta Road and a Subaru Outback was traveling north.According to the coroner, the Outback entered the southbound lane, attempting to pass another vehicle, and it crashed head-on into the Envoy.The coroner added that an 80-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Envoy, died at the scene.Other people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital, according to the coroner. Their conditions are not known at this time.The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
