Downtown Erie is set to sparkle this holiday season as Miracle on State Street returns on Saturday, Nov. 29, bringing back Small Business Saturday with a festive lineup of shopping, entertainment, and community activities.
This year’s event is presented in partnership with Copper Carriage, The Dollhouse at Pointe Foure Boutique, Erie Apparel, Glass Growers Gallery, and Flagship City District, and promises to be a one-stop destination for holiday shopping. Unique local vendors will pop up inside the Boston Store and the Erie Art Museum, offering gifts and seasonal items.
The celebration also marks the opening day of the Downtown Erie Community Skating Rink, with skating available all day for $5 per person, including skate rental. Each skating session comes with a free hot cocoa to keep visitors warm.
Adding to the holiday cheer, the Second Annual Window Decorating Contest kicks off on Nov. 29. Shoppers can vote for their favorite decorated storefronts through Gallery Night on Dec. 12, with winners announced at a special holiday party at Flagship City Food Hall on Dec. 17. Thanks to Andersen Windows for sponsoring this year’s contest.
Miracle on State Street is supported by VisitErie and features a wide range of participating businesses, including local shops like Copper Carriage, Erie Apparel, Glass Growers Gallery, and dining spots such as Flagship City Food Hall, Ember + Forge, and Serafini’s Trattoria.
The full vendor list, entertainment schedule, and more can be found on the Miracle on State Street website.
